We hope to provide basic guide for general players who know less about wiki.
We assume all would use Visual Editor, so we won't talk about source
Begin Your Tutorials
Tutorials your wish to share should publish in seperate Page, all users can create new page.
Title
For easier search and manage, following rules are recommended
- Be concise, but not too few words. Especially NO single word(such as "copper" or "start") titles. That's because this wiki is for all teammoeg modpacks, this may cause confuse to readers.
- If you can't think of any other titles, describe what modpack you are writing tutorials are far more better, such as "Getting Copper in TWR", "First day in Winter".
- Titles should not contains : or /
- At least it should look like a tutorial, not question.
Create a page
Search your title in searchbox. If it can't give you any result, you can click "Create this page" to create. Otherwise this title is used by others. Also, go to this page(Special:EditPage). If this page is not yet created, it would tell you page is creating.
Link to your page
No that you finished your tutorial, time to let others know.
Talk:The Winter Rescue is a hub for tutorials, you are encouraged to put your page onto it, what you need to do is edit source of a section and add links: [[Your Page Title]] into it.
You don't need to care about other things, moderators and developers would take care about anything else.
